Shipping policy

At Indian Rare Crafts (IRC), every product is sourced directly from skilled artisans across India. Some items are ready in stock, while many are Made-to-Order or Made-on-Demand, crafted specially for you. Our shipping timelines depend on product availability, craft preparation time, and your delivery location.


1. Order Processing Time

🟢 Ready-to-Ship Products

● Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
● These products are dispatched quickly from our warehouse or partner fulfillment centers.

🟠 Made-to-Order / Artisan-Crafted Products

● Many traditional crafts require extra time for creation.
● For such items, the estimated crafting time is displayed on the product page (e.g.,
4–7 days, 7–12 days, etc.).
● Your order will be processed only after the artisan begins crafting the item.
● The crafting timeline shown on our website/app is final, and delays may occur due
to weather, material availability, or artisan workload.

2. Shipping & Delivery Time

Domestic Shipping (India)

Once dispatched, delivery takes approximately:
● Metro Cities: 2–5 business days
● Non-Metro Cities: 4–7 business days
● Remote / Interior Locations: 7–10 business days

Couriers may vary depending on your location:
● Shiprocket Partner Couriers
● Delhivery, Blue Dart, Xpressbees, India Post
● Amazon EasyShip (for selected products)

3. Shipping Charges

● Shipping fees (if applicable) are calculated at checkout based on your location and
product weight.
● Some products may carry free shipping, indicated on the product page.

4. Tracking Your Order

● Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via SMS and email
automatically.
● You can also track your order from:

  • Your IRC Account Dashboard
  • Tracking Page on indianrarecrafts.com
  • Shiprocket-powered courier tracking link

5. Delivery Attempts

The courier will make two delivery attempts.

If the order is undelivered due to unreachable customer/unavailability:

  • It may be returned to origin (RTO).
  • Re-shipping charges may apply for a second attempt.

6. Delays & Exceptional Cases

Delays may occur due to:

  • Remote delivery locations
  • Weather conditions
  • Festivals or government holidays
  • Artisan material delays (for Made-to-Order products)

We always try our best to keep you informed through email/SMS updates.

7. International Shipping

Currently:

  • International Shipping is available on selected items only.
  • Charges and customs duties (if any) must be borne by the customer.
  • Delivery time varies from 10–20 business days depending on the destination.

8. Incorrect Address / Non-Availability

IRC is not responsible for:

  • Wrong or incomplete delivery addresses entered by customers
  • Orders marked delivered by courier but not received (must be addressed with the courier partner)
